Welcome to DeliciousUnderPressure.com. This site is all about pressure cookers. From detailed reviews, side-by-side comparisons, buying tips on how to use a pressure cooker to cook delicious meals for you and for your family.
While each pressure cooker review or comparison may seem to be concise, the process of getting to this point is long and laborious.
It takes me hours, sometimes even days to gather the information, filter through it, “translate” the technical lingoes to layman’s terms, and turn features to benefits.
I am hoping that the information here will help shorten your research time, save you lots of headaches, and more importantly, enable you to make a best buying decision.
I only choose bestsellers to write reviews. These bestsellers also have to have 3.5 star or better ratings by many customers. I do try to include products with varying price points to offer you different options based on your budget.
This site is structured with multiple navigation paths on the top and from the right hand-side. Here is a quick overview:
The first top level navigation consists of Home/Welcome Page, Reviews, Compare, Brand, Price and Buying Guide.
Home/Welcome: This is the home base where you may get re-oriented if ever getting “lost” on the site.
Compare: The comparisons are to help you choose between two or more pressure cookers or slow cookers with the same brand and across different brands. These comparisons are made on many levels to answer questions such as:
- Why Product A is $20 more than Product B with similar features and specifications?
- What makes Product A different from Product B?
- Which one should I get between Product A or Product B?
Brand: This allows you to search a pressure cooker by brand. The leading brands are listed in the drop-down menus and less-known ones are grouped into Other Brands. Place the cursor on “Brand” and click on a brand such as Kuhn Rikon to go to a summary page of all the Kuhn Rikon pressure cooker reviews.
Price: This includes Pressure Cookers and Slow Cookers. Hover over Price and Pressure Cookers or Slow Cookers to select one of the price ranges within your budget. For example, if you are interested in buying a pressure cooker between $100 to $200, click on this price range to see all the pressure cooker images. Click on the left “arrow” icon and it will lead you to the detailed review page.
Buying Guide: Provides you with a brief overview of pressure cookers and walks you through what to look for when buying one.
The second top level navigation includes buying tips and comparison charts:
Buying Tips: In between reviews and comparisons, I will be sharing buying tips such as what safety features to look for when shopping for a pressure cooker or what the best pressure cookers are for high altitudes, etc.
Comparison Charts: Here you’ll find various comparison charts with similar types of pressure cookers such as the Comparison Chart for the Best Pressure Cookers reviewed to date on this site, the Best Canners or Best 6-Quart Pressure Cookers.
The third way to navigate through the site is from the right-hand menus. From the top to the bottom, you’ll find options such as:
Please bear in mind that the Recent Posts are only showing a certain number of recent posts and they are not all-inclusive. The best way to find all the posts is from the Sitemap at the footer of each page or on the bottom of the right hand side below Recent Posts.
Last, but not the least, you can always type in a keyword, a brand name or a model # in the Search Box on the very top right-hand corner of every page. The related posts and pages will be retrieved from the site for your review.
There is nothing more rewarding than hearing your thoughts, comments and suggestions. Please do not hesitate to leave a comment or email me at pressurecookerqueen “at” deliciousunderpressure “dot” com. I’ll do my best to respond to your email within 24 hours.
